ok, heres how my day went. i'm on vacation so i woke up early and got the boat ready, went to subway/citgo for some gas and breakfast/lunch, and headed to the boat ramp. i launched and went on my way. everything was fine till i slowed on some curves in the river to keep from swamping someone. once i throttled down, the motor stalled and didnt restart.

after 30 minutes of trolling motor action, i arrived back at the ramp. i checked spark and its strong on both cylinders, so i suspected the carb sucked up some trash. however, when i squeeze my primer bulb, gas dumps out at the top of the carb.(see arrow in pic) please look at the pic and tell me if that's normal. I already bought a carb kit, but im not exactly sure whats going on here.

thanks in advance!

That overflow is from trash stuck under the needle in the bowl. You shouldn't need a kit, just some care in disassembly. Then clean the needle, seat, and any crap still in the bowl.

when fuel pours out the carbs it mean the needle is stuck ......
