Hi!
Recently had to overhaul my DT140 due to a bad piston. Had to go OD 0.25 on that cylinder. Reassembled and took it on a test run. Runs ok on idle. But on test run it was very weak. In fact only 3000 rpm weak on full throttle. Like it was only running on 2 cylinders weak. Then all of a sudden it took of. I blamed it on oil after the overhaul. But it didn?t fell like before. It felt like it was only running on 3 cylinders now. At least it went above 3000rpm.
I didn?t want to push it before breaking it in accordingly and then tried higher speeds. After 4000rpm, it definitely feels like the 4 cylinder kicks in. It revs up noticeably and feels strong and fast. If I reduce speed below 4000 rpm it behaves like before again. Weak and slow.
Tried new sparks. Same result.
Checked Ignition coil and pulser coil. Left checking is throttle sensor.
So has anyone had the same problem? It didn?t behave like this before overhaul. I would really appreciate some advise as I can?t figure this out.
Cheers
