I am currently dismantling a Suzuki DT4 from approximately 1990, to investigate a strange, intermittent noise, as described by others on this forum.
The engine appears not to have been dismantled previously.
The lower crankcase seal was fitted with the spring side towards the lower leg, but the manual says that the seal should be fitted with the lettering towards the end of the crankshaft.
Which is correct?
