suzuki or honda 4 stroke

I am in the market for a new four stroke motor 50-70 horse range.I have heard all mostly all good stories about the Honda 4 stroke but my local outboard repair shop swears by thr suzuki 4 stroke .He says they are much better and durable motors.Any opinions appriciated....

Suzi is EFI. Makes all the difference in the world.<br /><br />Moving to General Outboard.

Hi,<br />Suzuki DF70 4-stroke is considered a very good outboard - quite, good force, not so heavy and not that expensive after all. But if weight is important I would look closer at a Yamaha F60 or Mercury F60 EFI, both very light and reasonably strong and quite 4-strokes(Yamaha F60 is considered one of the most quite 60 hp 4-stroke on the market).<br /><br />/Bo

And the Honda 50 is lightwieght, reliable, and is a good motor also.
