Been running Evinrudes for a long time and am now considering a boat with a 1991 DT150, I believe it is the super six with dual spark plugs per cylinder. What do you think about this particular motor? This one is in good shape and has been well taken care of. What is the main difference between a regular DT 150 and the super six? Is there any common issues with this family of motors? How well does the oil injection hold up? ANy thing else you can add would be appreciated.
Thank you

Re: Suzuki Question

I have a 87 150 SS, had my mechanic rebuild carbs and had to disconnect the oil sensor ( not replaceable, any idiot can check his oil tank level ) mine runs strong. Have had no problems since. my mechanic say the 2 spark plugs give cleaner fuel burn and are almost like having 175 hp. I have mine on a 19'6" ProCraft, which is a heavy boat, and motor puts me up on plane in no time.
