1993 Suzuki DT 115. I'm installing new gauges. The tach I have is a Faria 7000 rpm for outboards. The Mfgs. instruction calls for the grey signal wire from the tach to connect to the UNrectified side of the alternator. I've gone through Clymer and they don't show an alternator.<br />or a factory connection for the tach. Any help would be appreciated.

Your motor harness should have a pigtail with empty wires of the correct color ... may take an adaptor of some type to connect with your gage.
