Suzuki vs Yamaha

We are repowering our 23' Parker and trying to choose between the 250 Yamaha 4-stroke and Suzuki 4-stroke. Any information will be helpful. Thanks

They are both good motors. I suspect that the Yamaha is $3-4,000 more than the Suzuki. Biggest decision is on service availability in your area. I just repowered my SeaCraft 23WA w/a 225 Honda, but that is the biggest engine that Honda makes. Maybe not as good a hole shot as my old 2 stroke, the power band is awsome in mid range.

Decided on the suzuki, about $1500 less but had the 6 year vs 3 year warantee. That was the deciding factor. Thank you
