Suzuki warranty question

I am going to order a brand new 20hp 4stroke suzuki that comes with a 3yr warranty.My question is when the 3yr warranty is getting close to running out do they send you a letter like most outboard companies to give you an opportunity to get a few more yrs of warranty for a few hundred bucks?

suzzy has a promo right now, but it states from 40hp up .6 years.

Well i pulled the trigger on a brand new 2013 20hp 4stroke efi suzuki,electric start,short shaft for $2935,i can't wait to get it.:joyous::joyous:
