Hi all. I have an 88 3.0 Cobra with 985268 model outdrive blown. I have a line on a solid known good marked as for a 3.0 liter with model 985684.
Is this a compatible swap? I have OMC manual and it makes no reference to this model drive for any year or displacement. The tag says 3.0 liter however. Any guidance appreciated. Seller seems like knowledgeable stand up dude and thinks it’s a fit.
