Swap out a Force 90 to a 115 Mercury same year

I would like to replace my 1994/5 90hp Force Outboard to a Mercury outboard, would I also have to change the controls and possibly anything else to make that work or are the controls the same for those years. The Mercury I was looking at was a 1995 115hp. What do you think a you think a good running rebuilt powerhead 90hp force is worth and also a 115merc.
