Swaping power heads.

I have a 1984 Johnson 90hp motor, model J90MLCRD. I want to buy another powerhead to swap out, found a good deal on a 90HP 1987 crossflow V4 J90TLCUR. My question is, can I swap these out or will the 87 not fit on my 84 case? Thank you for the help.

The powerhead will bolt right up. The two engines are nearly identical.

Thank you sir, I would assume I just need a gasket kit for this job and a good manual?

Also, are there any bolts I need to replace, I was trying to figure out if there were any stretch bolts that only have a once used lifespan? Thanks again.
