Hi guys, Just got me a boat today, Well, Dad was given a boat today, a 88 bass champ that came with a running 89 Johnson 60 hp 3 cycle engine, He wants the engine and is giving me his Force 50, to put on the little bass boat. My question is, is this doable?

Since we have both boats, ones a pontoon boat, and the other this little bass boat, can we swap out? What am i looking at to get this to work. The bolt patters will work, iv already measured them. But how about the cables, and wiring? Will i just take the wiring from one boat and use in the other?

Thanks for your Help

You are going to have to swap as complete units, control box, wiring and cables.

Probably not a problem, but make sure the shaft lengths are compatiable with the boats.

Insurance will be required on the 60.
