Swapping out a 3.0L merc with a 3.0LX

I need to replace my '94 3.0L merc engine, and I have located a used 3.0LX that I may buy. Would a 3.0LX be a direct bolt up? Would I run into any issues doing this? As far as I know, isn't the only difference in the cylinder head and exhaust manifold? If I get the exhaust manifold that comes with the 3.0LX, would this be a pretty straightforward engine swap?
