Swapping to a newer Yamaha-what's needed?

I'm replacing an 85 yamaha 225 with a 96 250. I'm pretty sure the controls will be ok but what about the wiring harness? Will I need a new harness or adapters to make this work?

10 pin main will work. box and cables will work, the trim harness, oil tank harness wont without adapters. in 95 yamaha went from round to square.
