I apologize if this is redundant post of my earlier ones, but the issue is new.
1998 DT 140, dead fuel pump. Replacement fuel pumps for this model are back-ordered, most likely discontinued.
I am able to find similar year pumps for larger motors, specifically a DT225. I know the 225 was a V 6 as opposed to the inline 4. Will there be a problem using a different pump on my motor? The drawing on the browns.point they look similar. I know similar may not be close enough. Will there be too much pressure from this larger motor pump? A restrictor perhaps?
Again apologize if this is redundant, but i'm dead in the water.
Thanks so much.
