Hello,

I did some searching already, but wanted to make sure

I have a swim ladder attached to my boats built in platform. I want a new ladder that telescopes so it's easier to get in the boat. The problem is that none of them are as wide as the one i have, so I can use the existing holes.

I am OK with drilling new holes but was wondering what to use to seal that old holes. the boat is white in color.

The search result said marinetex and 3m 5200

In a perfect world I could keep the the existing ladder and have someone custom bend and weld a new section on, but I believe it would be cheaper to get the telescoping one (I already have it from windline TDL-3)

What would you do?

I use a product called life-seal.But the 5200 is good to, pretty much the same thing. Just make sure to fill the holes, you don't want water intrusion.
