Switch box/powerpack

I'm getting a new Switch box/powerpack for my 78 Mercury 90hp outboard. Do I need to adjust anything on it before or after I install it?

As far as I know, it's plug and play. No adjustments in the box or any needed.

FYI, Merc calls them switch boxes and Evinrude/Johnsons call them power packs.

As long as you do not adjust any of the timing screws (3 on plate above distributor) or the idle timing collar, or the distributor drive belt, you should not need to retime the motor.

Thanks everyone for your answers. I'm kinda redoing almost everything on this engine and the last part is this switch box
