switchbox compatability. ASAP help #'s inside

I am about to order a new or used switchbox for my 70hp and give it a go.

P/N 332-5524A1 its off my 1979 merc 70hp 3cylinder.

I want to know if any of the ones i see for sale like 332 - 77..... etc will work or not since its very hard to find a working one with these exact #'s.

I remember a while back I tried the 115hp's pack cause i was so fed up but that didnt work either (but was supposed to be the same)

anyway, any help would be great. I just want to try a couple working packs to see if i can wake up this motor. most sellers guarentee them to work or money back i just need the right one !

I hope some one can answer this. I have the same part on a 65hp and was looking for a good #.

332-5524/332-7778A1,A3,A5,A6,A9 and A12 or 114-7778 or 18-5775 all interchange

I just put 2 of these on my 90 Merc and get great spark! Supposed to be better than Mercury boxes and cheaper too!

Does any one know if Siearra 18-557 and Mallory 9-25100 switch boxes will interchange as well? The 65 hp that I'm working on now has a odd serial number #7073596.
