Switching Over to Ram Oil

I have decided to switch my 115HP Ficht over to OMC Ram oil. I plan to dump out as much of the TCW-3 as I can from the oil tank.<br /><br />Should there be any compatibility problems with mixing the new oil with the TCW-3 left in the system? I suspect not, but if anyone has any experience here, please speak up.

You made a good decision, Bollard. Hope it isn't too late.<br /><br />Many engine failures have been attributed to using TCW-3 oil in direct injected engines, which require DFI oil.<br /><br />Good luck.

You can mix the 2 oils no problem.
