switching to 50;1

my 83 evinrude 50 is broke in now, im switching from 30;1 to 50;1 motor is running great at 30;1. my question is; (can i expect a performance increase with leaner oil?) <br /> <br />boat; 13.5ft bayliner capri.<br />prop; 11 3/4x17 with a doelfin hydrofoil even with the bottom of the transom.<br />weight; 1 person (230lbs).<br />wot rpm; 5200.<br />speed; 35 max on glass.<br />fuel cap; 11gal in the back.<br />i have been told that it should run about 40mph <br /> <br />^(presantly)

i just dont know about engine performance with mixed gas, i also have a bass boat with a old 90 merc but ive mixed nothing but 50;1.
