SX Trim Relays

I have a 1999 Volvo Penta SX-M ,The trim would not raise but would lower,I put 2 New Relays in and it started working fine out of the water.Once i got in the water and ran the Boat for about 10 minutes i tried to raise the drive it started the same thing no movement up only down,I put a jumper on the Trim motor to raise it to get it back on the trailer so I know the Trim motor works in both directions. I have not tried any new relays again yet.What do you think my next step should be?

I also noticed that the Trim Fluid was milky so i put new fluid in and now its milky again and running over in the Tank.But No fluid leaks that i can see on the Out drive .

your next step would be to flush the system, find your leak, then clean your electrical connections.

only two ways trim fluid gets milky. leaking ram cylinder or hose, or you had enough water in the boat to cover the reservoir. typical culprit is the trim manifold.

Never had enough water in the boat to cover the pump reservoir,But on the Leaking cylinders should i see some leaking fluid on the ground or in the water while running the boat.
