I am new to the forum but I am returning to boating after a prolonged absence and I just picked up a 1978 Sylvan 21' (good price) that needs the sole replaced.
I REALLY like the idea of a solid floor and scuppers but I also like to be able to see what is going on beneath the floor and wonder about duckboards for flooring but that had the disadvantage that a bad wash goes stright into the bilge.
Any thoughts or ideas on other advantages/disadvantages of each?
