Synch and Link

Keep seeing this expression - obviously refers to setting carbs? can someone advise in laymans terms what thi=s involves? My '78 70 hp has only rudimentary adjustments on the throttle linkages.thanks steve

It involves useing the linkages and syncronizing the timing and the carb/s. it would be a good idea to have a manual for your engine and fully understand how to do it before trying this.
