Tach and RPM range for 1986 70 vro

What is WOT for a 1986 Johnson 70 vro?

The boat does not have a tach and I want to add one. It is a dual console and the only guage is the tilt/trim. What type of tach would I need?

any one that will work with your motor. WOT rpm should be 5500. a tach is a waste of $ imho, you only need one when getting it propped correctly, and when having trouble. a water pressure gauge is a useful gauge.
