I have a 1994 Honda BF40A. Purchased new pontoon boat that had Faria gages.
The Tach does not operate properly in mid range RPM. Dealer claims to have tried several different tach -- no success. Contacted Faria and they indicated that pre- 2000 Honda motors have this problem and they (Honda) issued a service bulletin #20 in 2001 indicating that Honda Part # 06383-ZV315 would correct the problem. Apparently modifies signal to allow tach(s) to function.
I have searched the web for this part/bulletin and not find.
Any one know where I can get info on this part
