I followed the instructions at Teleflex about hooking my tach around the rectifier and to the altenator. It suggested to hook the gray sending wire to the yellow striped wire and it is now working and not dropping off after 2500 rpm's. Can I continue to run like this until I get a new rectifier?<br />(85 Johnson 150hp)
