tach pulse settings for a v-4 90hp

Can not remeber what the tach needs to be set at for a v-4 90hp eng, i currently have it set to 4 pulses.

Should be 6P -- but then you didn't mention how old this motor is.

6P on The OMC/BRP and Teleflex tachometers, older Faria tachs, too.

Some of the newer Faria tachometers use a different system and don't have the letter "P" in their numbers.
