I have a johnson 100hp 1979 motor that I put on a boat that used to have a merc. My Tachometer is a quicksilver with 4 options
1=4cyl 4cycle
2=6cyl 4cycle
3=8cyl 4cycle
4=12 Pole Alter
now i believe my motor is 6 pole... what category would this fall into?
I would simply buy another tach with 6 pole but they are a hundred bucks and money is kind of tight right now.
