Friend buys a boat - an '83 Mercruiser 120. The guy before him replaces the the ignition system with an electronic ignition. Now the tach runs backward. What's up with that ? Suggestions please !
Some of the old tachs could handle electronic ignition. Only 2 options, replace the ignition system back to points, or replace the tach with a newer model.
