My tach got jarred when i hit a big wave and the little dial I am told will sometimes move thowing it out of calibration. It is very difficult to see and even more difficult to pull out but i can see some numbers around the dial on the tach which needs a screwdriver. 1, 2,3,4,5,6. I have it. Im assuming the numbers mean the cylinder however i read in places you double it. Is it supposed to be set on 2, or 4?

Its how many pulses come from the coil per revolution. A 4 stroke 4 cylinder produces 2 pulses per revolution, I would think it would be 2
