the tach on my 171/2 stratos with a 1984 150 gt pulsates (bounces back forth )has done it for about 6 mo. where should i start to find the problem I came on the boat in 1984
Check and clean all connections at the Tach and at the rectifier, where the Tach connects. If that does'nt do it, borrow another one and try it to confirm that your Tach is OK!
I will try that ,when taking the light bulb out it was very coroded ,this is probally the same at the connections ....thanks for the advice I am not very familiar wtih marine electronics...leebob
