Tach wiring schem

I bought a replacement tach, but have no wiring schematic. It's an OMC P/N 176301-22-K-U (7000 rpm, 6 pulse with OMC system idiot lights). I'm going to replace my tach and separate idiot light gauge with this one, but I don't have the pin-outs for the connector in the back. Looks like I'll have to build a connector. Oh, the current tach doesn't work (verified that the tach is bad, used a good one to check) and I want to put an hour meter in where the systems gauge is now. Running a '98 Johnson 200 Oceanrunner.
If anyone has a schematic or can point me to one, I'd appreciate it. :)
thanks

Re: Tach wiring schem

Ok, was able to answer my own question..... a rarity.
Seems that the idiot light gauge has a connector plugged into it. Same set up, same 8 wires needed for the tach. Just plug the connector into the tach and everything works. Oh, sorry, it's a boat. Just plug the connector into the tach, 8 hours and 3 handsfull of hair, it works! :D
