tach wiring

Ok time to wire this boat.what I don't know is how to wire in the tach for my 1985 evinrude 150 xp anyone out there with any help with this one would be much appreciated.

ITYWF that the three pin connector near the cntre of the diagram is for the tachometer

The black wire (C) is ground (battery negative)
The purple wire i(A) s a switched positive supply
The grey wire i(B) s the tachometer signal from the rectifier/regulator
