Hello.<br />Yes they do.<br />You must be careful to get a tachometer for your engine.If your engine is older and has points instead of electric ignition,you must buy for a "magneto system".If you have electric ignition, you must buy accordingly.<br />There is something called tinytech on the market which is good for both. This works on the induction that is on your spark plug cables.There are two different types of these .Punch in search on this board and then type out tinytech. Only problem is that they have BATTERIES THAT CANNOT BE CHANGED. So after a few years you have to buy a new one.<br />On e-bay there is an ocean full of tachometers for peanuts. Just make sure you buy one that suits your outboard.<br />Good luck.
