Tachometer lead missing '68 65Hp

I would like to install a Tach but the replacement Amplifier doesn't have a Grey lead. Can I use one of the yellow leads fron the stator or is there another source? Thanks!

If both leads at thhe rectifier are yellow instead of having one yellow/gray, then yes, connect to either yellow lead.
