I have a 74 merc 1150. My Tach does not work and I'd like to test it and the wiring before replacing. I can run jumper wires to the tach from my motor, but I'm having trouble figuring out where the tach connects.
I have two different manuals, but they cover so many different motors, that it is difficult to figure out wires, etc.
Can anyone help with identifying the wires/connections to use?
