tachometer wiring question

I recently purchased a vintage tac for my 1970 70 hp chrysler and would like to know how to wire it. there two wires, 1 yellow, 1 yellow. I bought the tach on ebay so it is used, but supposedly works. Does the white wire go to the tach circuit, and the yellow to the start circuit?<br /><br />Thanks

I am sorry, there is 1 white wire and 1 yellow wire.
