I have an '87 Force 85hp. The tach dosn't seem to be right. It is giving me high readings. How do I adjust it? <br /><br />Thanks!

OLD TACH. Didn't try to pull it out and clean it. Should I? It seems to operate o.k. I just know that my engine dosn't run open throttle at 8000 rpm..

check on the back of tach for switch/knob which changes the number of cylinders that the tach reads...<br /><br /><br /><br />------------------<br />"Keep It Between The Bouys" & "Good Luck"!!!<br /><br />fone_man
