I am new to this forum site but I'm not new to forums in general. Does anyone know a ball park figure of how much it'd be to buy and install a tacometer for an outboard?
Ballpark about $50-150 depending on model and there are many universal ones for about $60
Depending on the outboard most control units are pre-wired for tachs...... the toughest part may be cutting the hole and mounting it. I have seen people use a rotozip, a drill and a file to make the hole or even a jigsaw.....
