i was out on the water today and got a quick glimpse of a cute little boat that sort of looked like a little tugboat. i think it might have said tadpole on it ... anywho ... it had an enclosed pilothouse and was probably less than 16 feet in length ... looked similar to a c-dory ("trailerable tug"). i'm curious to know if anyone has any ideas about what this might have been ... manufacturer, etc? it was white with green lettering ... sort of like a national park service boat, although this was on a small lake in wisconsin and this boat was docked at a residence - so it wasn't any type of gov vessel. any ideas?
thanks,
lars

Is this the little guy here?

If so, it's a Martini Ranger 21. I looked at one back in 2003 when they were quite inexpensive by todays standards. It's not fast with that little Yanmar 20 hp diesel (30 hp is optional) but it is a nice displacement cruising hull for a lake. You can see it here: Martini Ranger 21
