Stuck/corroded sendor unit in tank, bad gauge , or ground wire shorted to pink on tank sendor.Tank sender unit is directly in front of lower engine pully, hard to access. Can be seen with light, to see if wires touching each other. Pull ground / black wire off, if gauge goes down then back up when reconected gauge is good and seder is stuck ,or bad. Possibly corroded contact from condisation inside tank.
