Take Apart Hydraulic Cylinder??

Hello i need to replace the outer tube on a Mecruiser Trs hydraulic cylinder. and replace the internal componets. how do i remove the cap of of cylinder? is there a special tool to use?and is it as simple as just swaping out parts ansd putting it back together? thanks

That's Pretty Much the Whole Cylinder............<br /><br />I've never had the pleasure of working on a TRS, so I don't know Which trim cyl.s it uses.....<br />If they're the same as the trim cyl.s used on other Merc.s,<br />Then you can Buy them on ebay for next to Nothing..........
