I took my 19' bayliner off its trailer. Before doing this i searched the forums. i found alot of info and sugestions, however i still felt uncertain about any one method. In the end I built a cradle, took a deep breath, and pulled the trailer. This is just some pics and my methods to help anyone in the future who decides to do it this way.

Cradle cost 15 bucks
atv jack that i already owned
I am going to patch some chips and gouges on the hull and do some repairs and maintenance to the trailer. I will not be getting in th boat while it is on the cradle.
With the trailer tongue lowered the cradle is snug underneath. Then I raised the tongue and placed the atv lift under the bow. Then moved trailer forward until hitting crossmember. just lower atv lift, reposition and repeat. FWIW
