Tan wire from 1988 60 hp Johnson. I believe this is the temp warning wire from the engine. The previous owner did not have it wired into the dash, however there is a small red warning light as well as a small round buzzer. My question is can someone explain how to wire this into my fused terminal block. I'm not sure if the tan wire provides a ground to both the light and the buzzer or if it is providing 12 to the light and buzzer. Thank you in advance! Hoping to finish this project and get the boat ( 1974 starcraft 16 ss)

Pictures help.-------The warning horn for a 1988 model would be in the control box.----Running a 74 control box on a 1988 model motor ?-----The switch in the cylinder head goes to ground in the event of overheat.

This is the control box presently used on motor. Box only controls engine speed and forward or reverse. All other controls are controlled from dash
