tank vent

Where does a 6 gal. OMC portable tank vent? It has a nonvented cap. Doesn't it have to vent? This is not the type that has the vent knob.

Rosewood...if you look at the connector, you will see two small pins sticking out. One pin opens a small valve that lets fuel into the fuel line. The other pin is a vent. Both open when the fuel line connector is attached to the tank connector.

Thanks outboardjim, one more question, where is the opening, is it under the pin? I'm trying to see if this tank is venting.
