I know horrible title.

Anyway, I want to install a pump and deck washdown on my boat. In order to reduce the amount of thru hulls on my boat I was thinking about "T"-ing off the toilet water line. Does anyone think this would cause an issue?

Thanks

The only issue I can think of is capacity.

I use raw water washdown for everything. Rinsing decks, filling fish boxes, killing biting flies, even hosing myself down when it get too hot.

Would severely cramp my style if I didn’t have an unlimited water supply

Oh, my toilet supply water is not from a tank, it is from a thru hull on the bottom of the vessel...

A couple of valves need to be added or you'll be sucking air through the toilet. Or one valve on the toilet supply with the "T" between the valve and thru hull. If you keep the washdown capped when not in use you shouldn't need a valve on the washdown feed, but a valve after the "T" is safer.

That makes sense. Thanks!
