Targa - Tundra Owners !! Prop ?

what size and brand props are you guys running ? Stainless or Aluminum ? What speeds ?

I am running an aluminum 19 pitch and it seems the RPMS are too high. I am trying to step up to see if I can get more speed. I am running at about 42-44 Mph with a 90 Merc. 2003 Targa 17

My 1996 Targa 17 SC (115 ELPTO) came used with 2 aluminum props, both 12.5 x 23P. Both have been dinged and repaired a few times. Performance is great in terms of hole shot and top speed. Interestingly, one of the props seems faster, with speedo showing 48 mph at close to 6000 rpm, the other maxing out at around 45 (on a good day) at a less worrisome 5400-5500. I use the latter, and keep the former on board for back-up.
