tattle tail water volume/pressure question

2001 Yamaha 115 4 stroke,

Should the amount of water coming out of the tattle tail (pee valve) increase as the rpms increase? I noticed with a waterhose hooked up with
"ear-muffs" to it that the stream from the tattle tail didn't seem to increase when the rpms were raised (in nuetral of course)

i do not know why,but four strokes do not put out the "hole in the concrete" pee stream, i have done a hundred two stroke water pumps, but always second guess myself on four strokes, yours seems to be ok

I have a 25 4 stroke and it puts out more than my 115 4 stroke. Just changed the impeller on the 115 as a precaution and it looked like it had been slipping on the shaft.... but the improvement in volume was minimal?

put it in the water and it pees like a race horse
