Being self employed this time of year sucks it's a catch 22 if you don't claim every little thing you owe out the yang if you do it doesn't look like you made anything so you can't get a loan but could be worse I could live in Iraq
I use that old form that says:
Line 1: How much did you make?
Line 2: Send it in!!
No Tomahawks last year, but a .50 cal or two for sure. God Bless the USA
Those SOB's.-IRS.

Made less money, have to pay more.

Why? I fall into a bracket that the IRS gets 1/2 of what I make, based upon a five year plan. Refund, last year, $100.00. Have to pay this year-$2K+++.

I'm thinking about "quitting" work and and just sucking off of the rest of you.

the "Project Boat" is being sold to pay-taxes!!

That's pathetic!!
Yea this time of year makes you wonder why you have your own business.

I do my own and I look for ever little loop hole I can find, so as not to pay more in taxes.
I did them bout 60 days ago...man would I like to get ahold of state and federal budgets and do a line item veto on that sucker. Pay more in taxes now than I made first year outa school....Ah the good old days, who says money buys happieness.
I organize and turn them over to accountant. Run a small business on the side, well, maybe its a money losing hobby, lots of depreciation and multiple expense catagories. I was loafing this year and now he is real busy so will have to do an extention and won't get refund till July.
