Good for him.He's a class act no doubt.I only know this because my wife has had control of the tv remote throughout the competition. :D She voted for Katherine but still liked Taylor as well and was glad to see him win.I'm glad it's all over.Or not.Tomorrow begins the dance competition. :D

Kat was far more talented, but Taylor had something about him that grabbed his audience. Also, I think the fact that he was less priviledged that Kat made a difference as far as getting a small percentage of sympathy votes.<br /><br />I wish them both the best in the future, It was a great show. :)

I didnt watch...My kids do though. I like Taylor. I also like his last name....

If you like American Idol you’ll also like MTV. They’re both advertising venues for corporate sponsors. In the case of AI, the benefactor is that guy/talent judge, Simon. Everyone that appears on AI is signed to Simon’s promotional/management company. He has the right of first refusal regarding their career potentials. No matter who wins or loses, Simon makes money off of them.<br /><br />Edit: If you want to hear some real, world class vocal talent, check out the CDs by a young Japanese girl named Akiko. I’m normally not a big fan of jazz but this lady can single like few can.
